The Gatlinburg Law Enforcement Conference is an annual event for law enforcement officers, victim advocates, prosecutors, and related professionals. It offers specialized training, sessions with experts, and peer collaboration nationwide.

Victim Services Track

About The Conference

Join us in Gatlinburg, Tennessee for the Premier Training Event for U.S. Law Enforcement Professionals in the southeast. This event focuses on enhancing community safety, policing standards, and professional development.


We provide top-quality training to agencies across eight states. The 2026 agenda addresses law enforcement challenges, shares best practices, and supports officer well-being. Highlights include:


Tuesday, May 5, 2026: Keynote Address from Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche (tentative).


Wednesday, May 6, 2026: Author Scott D. Payne discusses his undercover work against extremist groups and the opioid crisis, as featured in his New York Times bestseller Pale Horse.


Thursday, May 7, 2026: Presentations on Leadership, Critical Incidents, and current law enforcement topics.

Victim Services Track

The Victims Services Track at the Gatlinburg Law Enforcement Conference is specifically tailored for system-based victim service providers working within law enforcement and prosecution agencies.


Participants in the Victim Services Track will have the opportunity to:


  • Strengthening Victim Services Programs
  • Expand knowledge of Crime Victim Rights
  • Explore Best Practices in Victim Services
  • Network with Allied Professionals
  • Receive Training in Trauma-Informed Practices


This marks our second year offering a dedicated Victim Services track alongside the main conference agenda. Development of this program area is currently underway.

Victim Services Track

Established over 25 years ago, the Gatlinburg Law Enforcement Conference aims to deliver top-tier training for state and local officers and foster cooperation among federal, state, and local agencies. 


Over time, the conference has expanded its curriculum to offer relevant training to law enforcement professionals of all types.


The Kentucky Association of Chiefs of Police (KACP) sponsors this event. 


For the 2026 Conference agenda, KACP is collaborating with agencies at all levels—federal, state, and local—as well as United States Attorney’s Offices throughout the southeast region.
